I'm aware that some of you may have seen the recent rumors circulating about our company, spread by a former CS team employee. I want to reassure you from
the start: the allegations she is making are completely untrue. We have always put the protection of our users' funds first, as demonstrated by initiatives like our
Proof of Reserves, and we continue to follow our security roadmap to strengthen our measures at every step.
Some of you might have come across an old Slack message concerning KYC selfies. To clarify, that incident took place when our team was first set up, long before
this ex-employee ever joined us. At the time, the individuals involved were appropriately disciplined, and since then we have introduced much stricter controls that
make this kind of lapse impossible to repeat.
Unfortunately, this ex-employee did not perform well during her time here and left on those grounds. Since then, she has been attempting to damage the
company's reputation. Initially, she claimed she had experienced unfair treatment, then later switched to other accusations, and is now threatening us by saying she
might leak internal Slack messages to users. She has even leaked personal information about one of our employees, and we have evidence that just before leaving,
she captured some of some of CS team members' ID cards. We suspect she may have joined us with malicious intent from the beginning.
We want you to know that we plan to communicate openly and honestly with our users about all of these issues. An official announcement is coming soon, and
emails will be sent to clarify what has happened. Her actions appear motivated by personal financial gain, but rest assured, our company has no intention of
bending to such threats.
